Remarkable Benefits of the Sauna

When I would tell people that the sauna is apart of my weekly routine, people associated my sauna use with detoxing. When this would happen, I wanted to start discussing every aspect of the sauna but, I only stuck to one main point, it decreases your risk for all cause mortality by 20%. Majority of people would look at me like I was crazy, because that aspect was even hard for me to understand at first.

All cause mortality? What does it mean? All-cause meaning everything, mortality meaning death. Sauna use will not decrease your risk of getting hit by a bus however, in the fight against disease, there are now multiple studies showing a decrease risk of cancer, heart disease, and alzheimer’s. I heard this information almost two years ago and it has been a huge part of my lifestyle.

The institute of Public Health and Clinical Nutrition, University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland and the School of Clinical Sciences, University of Bristol, Bristol, UK released a new study showing that there is a decrease risks of dementia and Alzheimer's disease associated with sauna bathing.

The original study by the same doctor at the Institute of Public Health and Clinical Nutrition, University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, also included Department of Medicine, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia and Institute of Internal Medicine and Diabetes Care Unit, Catholic University School of Medicine, Rome, Italy. Showed the decreased risks of all-cause mortality, sudden cardiac death (SCD), fatal coronary heart disease (CHD), and fatal cardiovascular disease (CVD).

I don’t think the sauna is for everyone but, I think it can be a great tool of prevention. Please use caution, even after using the sauna for almost two years I still consider it challenge. I try to use the sauna for 15 to 20 minutes four times a week. I find that the sauna is cost effective, simple, and easy.

There is so much to say about this remarkable research, Dr. Rhonda Patrick was the first to expose me to all this research and goes into great detail on her YouTube channel. I just want to introduce and educate the steemit community about the amazing studies that could possibly change everyone's future for the better.
