There are many names for this dish, such as chicken on a throne, beer butt chicken, dancing chicken or drunken chicken.
As far as I am concerned, it is simply a way of BBQing chicken. A Can of beer provides your favorite beer flavor (always use your favorite beer) and most importantly, it moisturizing the chicken during BBQing.
Pad dry the checken and then add salt and pepper. I used a baking tray underneath BBQ chicken stand
twist the wings to the back of the chicken or on top of it. Made sure the chicken breast is open to the heat
Pour beer to the baking tray. You may also add some onions, bell pepper or mushroom to the tray. the vegetable will be delicious after it soaked in beer and chicken dripping.
Pre-heart the grill to 300 degree. I also prefer to add some hickory chips to enhance the flavor
grill about 20 minutes
check the chicken and make sure it is evenly grilled. Close the lid for another 20 minutes.
