It is really hard to judge who has done better among Bill Gates,Carnegie and Mother Theresa. As you stated, each did their part in the different capacities they could.
For me i could consider Carnegie as the winner(do we need a winner anyway?) because he built libraries that helped open people's minds.
It so happens that even if we deny it,we all want to be famous! Its just a natural trait.
Each of these people will long be remembered for what they did for others in need, but the focus of charity and philanthropy is on helping others, not on being famous for it.
We are all also helping out in our individual ways,Steemit can be an example.Steemit is helping a lot of people especially in third world countries. All of us on Steemit who post and vote help put the world in whatever we do.I can give ans example of me joining Steemit in Uganda,i have indirectly affected hundreds of people and directly affected 50 people! The 50 have affected the hundreds as uncles, friends aunties etc!
We all have a part to play .
Yes, we all have parts to play. And no, it doesn't matter who wins. :)
