It can be fun being a tourist. I enjoy it. Last time we were camping there was a pea hen at the campground. They have sort of an annoying call. It woke me up the first morning, before I knew there was a pea hen living on the grounds. I was trying to figure out what in the heck kind of bird made that sound and then Willie saw it. Sadie and I then saw her later.

I'm sure that campsite became less popular after the discovery of the peahen. Those birds are a crazy group. My chickens make a surprising range of sounds, some of which would be a bit alarming first thing in the morning.
Surprisingly we got used to it. The camp owners hate it though and I think many campers do not like it either. They for sure will not get another.
