This is so true, not only do we gain new experiences from learning skills, we become more valuable in general. Other people will seek us out, opportunities will come, and we will have the security of having desirable skills the world wants.

Not to mention all the other aspects of yourself that you can invest in like health. etc. Investing in myself is the goal this year, to make the following years that much better :)
