Being productive became a serious problem in the past few years. There are a lot of distractions that always keep you unproductive. In this post, I'd like to give you some advice which can help you became the most productive person in the world. Achieve your dreams now!
Procrastination
Every time you want to do any type of task, your brain tells you to do something else. The brain was just preprogrammed to act like that. Usually, you turn on the Facebook or Instagram to see what's new in the world. This is highly unproductive and most of the time you end up doing the task just before the deadline (if there's any).
“My advice is to never do tomorrow what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time.” - Charles Dickens
How to fight procrastination?
- Focus only on a one task at a time - No, your brain can't focus on multiple tasks at a one time. You need to do the hardest task first and then you should move to the easier one.
- Do your tasks with a Pomodoro technique - Pomodoro technique is a really famous way for keeping yourself focused. It usually works in multiple sessions - 25 minutes of work and 5 minutes of free time.
- Writing the things you will do while you work - When you start working, your brain usually tells you to open the Facebook and look what's new or it magically remembers that you have to eat or etc. This life-hack is easy. Take a paper and write the things that you'd like to do. You can do them after you're done with your job.

What are the best apps that can help you?
Forest - The task is simple. You need to grow a tree which will grow only if you don't do anything on your phone for a certain time. If you fail this task, your tree will be killed! (Android and iPhone)
Quality Time - Monitor the time you spend on your phone daily! (Android)
Trello - This app helps you organize the way you do stuff.
Evernote - Create your Daily Journal so that you can know how productive you were on a certain day.
Procrastination will be one of the biggest problems in the future. STOP IT NOW and become productive! (I hope you didn't procrastinate while you were reading this post)Please UPVOTE or RESTEEM this post if I helped you!
My personal rule is: if you can't be sure that a certain action will bring you and the world a favor, it is not necessary to undertake it. You can do nothing – most likely, it will be pleasant, and hardly anyone gets hurt. Rarely fatal mistakes were committed by people lying in bed, while the need to do something more than once led to serious catastrophes. Productivity is extremely dangerous.
Nice job man. I've had a lot of problems with procrastination and pomodoro technique helps me the best. Also, I would add, just committing to do the task every day no matter what will create a habbit to do the task effortlessly like brushing your teeth. Gona resteem this for my followers to see. Cheers!
I agree with you. There's something called the 21/90 rule. It takes 21 days to build a habit and 90 days to build a lifestyle. That's why I started this year with the 100 Days Of Code Challenge. I want coding to be my lifestyle.
Also thanks a lot for the resteem! :)
