Why You Should Accept Paradox in order to Achieve Success

in #life5 years ago

Success depends on so many factors and it is as broad a term as the number of people who define it. To me, success means doing my job right and making enough money to be able to afford some simple pleasures such as going on holidays, eating and buying the clothes I want.

Other people view success in terms of building a great business or a happy family. Nonetheless even if we all have a different definition for success, few of us can actually say that they achieved it. Success is hard to reach and to keep it is as volatile as cryptocurrency:) and ever-changing.

What we consider the climax of success this year might not coincide with what we'll think the next year because we are constantly growing and yearning for more.
Nonetheless what most successful people have in common and what l am going to discuss today is their ability to accept paradox.

Contradiction often accompanies success just like a binary, black or white thinking is often the predilect path for mediocrity. Successful people know that life has at least 50 shades of gray and they are ready to accept it and take advantage of its different nuances at every step of the way.

Success means thinking outside the box and, more than often, accepting compromise. This takes courage and confidence which are two common traits of successful people. These persons accept sacrifice and sometimes sacrifice themselves, sometimes others in order to reach their goals. They love their family but often neglect it in order to focus on businesses.

They constantly achieve their target, but are never satisfied with it and always place the bid higher. They feel confident about themselves and know they're great at what they're doing, but at the same time they have major inner conflicts and constantly blame themselves for not being good enough.

Many successful people have a contradictory and intriguing personality and this doesn't only make up for their charm, but also for their achievements. If you want to follow their example, a good starting point is accepting life as paradox and live by this principle.
