The Snail Philosophy To Inspire Our Lives

in #life7 years ago

This time I want to discuss about a snail. An animal created by God so unique. Allah Ta'ala created it with a large shell covering his body. An animal that is very slow in walking. But this time I was inspired to discuss the valuable lessons of a snail. Okay with the review.

"Although slowly walking, but still willing to walk."

The snail is indeed destined to be able to walk with it just like that, so slow even if only to move a few centis. But look, the snail is still willing to walk. He kept gradually crawling with his body. In contrast to other animals that can move quickly. That's how a snail he keeps running in his own way and his own abilities that God has given him.

The lesson we can take is that each one does have its own advantages and disadvantages given by God. It may be that we have a very basic shortcoming, as if we can not do like everyone else. Look at the snail, it keeps running behind the lack of speed it has. Likewise ourselves, if indeed ourselves can not be like other people. Can not be as fast as others, can not be as clever as others, not as rich as others, or do not seem to have this and that ability. So keep doing everything we can, this is what God has given us. This is the way of life that God has set for us. We must accept it, and do whatever we can. Do not even give up because we can not be like the others.

"The weight of the shell is not a burden to be regretted, but it is something that is very protective."

The snails are already slow, still have a heavy shell. Almost all parts of his body covered by shell. But just observe then we have actually realized something special. The shell is not a burden to the slug, so he will not walk. It is precisely the shell that protects it from various other animals who want to eat it.

Like the snail, in our lives it is dependent from the point of view that we have. If we consider many things that we have it is a burden. Then we will become more and more complaining. If we consider that everything that happens to our lives is a problem for us. So no other than we become feel so people are always hit by sadness and trouble. And of course God gave something that is beneficial to us. If we want to look at it in terms of positive. Want to see that this world is not something that seems to be a burden, but as a matter to be solved well. Wanting to see whatever is conferred upon us is a gift, something that can be useful to us.

"Often said to be disgusted by the mucus, but it is beneficial for wound healing."

The snail is often considered a disgusting animal. Animals are slimy and make ourselves uncomfortable to hold it. But behind its nature like that, snails are animals that are often used by humans to heal wounds. That's because the mucus in the snail's body is able to eradicate many bacteria and help in the closure of the wound. Until not infrequently people still use it as an alternative way of first aid when the body is injured.

Perhaps many of us have shortcomings. We can also always be sought for its shortcomings, to a lot of talk and comments that seemed to menyludutkan and drop us. But if we can remain patient and calm, maybe ourselves can become a snail. Although considered as something that is disgusting but it can be very useful. We can be useful for others. Not too much to question what people say, the important thing we want to benefit others. It is better to spread goodness, than to always serve people who will underestimate and overthrow us.
