Good to see you ... ah now that is a stopper! There some excellent second hand MacBooks on Ebay or similar. I have two MacBooks, both bought used - one is a 2011 and my newer one is a Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015. Both are great machines, especially as they both have SSD HD - which I recommend for ALL PC and Mac users to double their speed over standard HD performance!

It is often wise to stay on older OS - if it ain't broke don't fix it, as they say!
I always test new OS on a spare partition or HD, just in case!

thanks @icedrum . that helium app must be cool. I used to crop my windows into smaller size to do multitasking but that seems to be too distracting.
Yes indeed - also Magnet - is excellent way to control and arrange windows quickly - a much needed addition for Mac OS!
