Great post! I remember seeing Alexey's photos awhile ago and being amazed by them. I didn't realise he had taken the time to share his set up to capture the snowflakes...amazing! You're completely right, the photographer's mind is the most important piece of the puzzle when creating photos. The equipment is always secondary to the user.
