Update: What is going on with Homalinadir?

in #life8 years ago

I have been 'absent' recently...for good reason, as I understand things.

On a mundane level, I have been busy with work the past week (performing musician...rehearsals, hangs [social life], and performances). On a more personal "heavy" level, my mother recently went into hospice care.

This has been very difficult for me. Throughout my life my mother has been like a granite pillar. 'Tough as nails', so to speak. Always full of vitality. Over the past couple of months, that pillar has begun the process of crumbling...in particular as of the last two weeks. She is stubborn, refusing to see a doctor...for good reason, in her estimation.

A year previously, she watched what happened to her younger brother going through the medical system (I did too). They butchered him and sent him on his way. He wasn't long for the world after 'medical treatment'. Having witnessed his demise, I fully understand, and agree with, her reticence.

That being said, from my research into the symptoms she is showing, I suspect either pancreatic or gastric cancer. I think she is in a state of resignation. To top things off, it is most likely the fucking bank is going to take her house (legal battle going back to 2012). Meh!

I suppose the point of this is that all of this has hit me rather hard...it somewhat (understatement?) diluted my motivation to work on the posts I have intended, and promised, to make. I am coming to terms with the situation and will eventually finish the first of my intended articles in due time.

I hope all is well with you fellow steemians!!!

Please watch the following documentary called The Beautiful Truth for healing options:

Please don't allow the robber-barons to do so. They put up absolutely ZERO as collateral for your mom's house but instead created the $$$, for the loan, out of thin air. That is called FRAUD. They are in cahoots with the "government" and are allowed to act as creditor while we are the debtor. They risk absolutely nothing. The only risk they have is if people wise up to their game and make a run on the banks.

Thanks for the info @fulltimegeek !
