Nice and interesting article! I remember a show where they said that the chance of life forming by itself through chemical reactions is similar to the odds of picking up (by accident) a winning lottery ticket from the pavement every single day for a thousand days! - I might be wrong with the numbers but regardless of how you put it, the odds are astronomically small!
