It is better to be alone than to keep yourself around the company of people who makes you feel alone. If you don't learn how to enjoy your own company then you really find yourself around people who doesn't want you.
Humans are social beings, we want to be around people and share our interest with others, but when the people you want to be around with don't like you, it's time to leave them. To help you always be around people who share the same interest you.
