Not been in this space for a long time. Life fills my time and the gravity of the mainstream social media has held me in is orbit. I ask myself how the tendrils of the facegramtweet world have held me so tightly.... and i think its mostly other users rather than the platform itself. I stay where my friends are and as much as I hate these other beasts of time devouring, its how I still find digital connections and news.
If only I could persuade a few to join me here... but they like me would eventually drift to where the biggest mass of their friends are. Sadly not many are ready for the blockchain connection of peakd and I still think to the average folks the connection process is clunky comaperd to give me a user name email and password.
Oh well here's pretty moment as I walked through a churchyard where I live.
Welcome back. I think a lot of people are getting disillusioned with the ads and bias of the mainstream platforms, so maybe Hive could be attractive to them. I know from experience that it can be hard to persuade them. Have fun.
