in #life7 years ago

Hello everybody!

Today I decided to write something about Whey Protein. What is Whey Protein, who and why takes it, when, how is it made and something more.

First of all, I want to write something about how is it made and from what.
The world of fitness and bodybuilding is still full of prejudice against whey protein. Most people, especially those who are not in fitness, say whey protein is chemistry
We have a lot of whey proteins and a lot of sources of whey. The most popular whey protein is whey made from the milk whey.

So what is Whey Protein? It is nothing more than a protein obtained from milk whey, which is still known as whey protein.

How the whey powder is made from milk?

Whey is a green-yellow liquid which is formed as a by product in the production of cheese.
Later this whey from milk is processed into the protein powder we know as a Whey Protein.

Today we know three types of whey protein: concentrate, isolate and hydroizolate.
The main difference is firstly at the time of absorption. Concentrate takes 20-30 minutes to fully absorption, Izolat needs less, 10-15 minutes, and hydroizolate is the fastest one who will feed your muscles after a workout in less than 10 minutes.

Who and when takes it?

Well, whey protein firstly became popular among bodybuilders and weightlifters. They take it to feed and recover their muscles after hard weight training. later it is used by all sportsmen, but also by people who want to lose weight and watch on their health and diet.

If you're in fitness, like me, I recommend you drink it right after training. You will give your muscles all they need for the best recovery from training. During training muscle fibers break, taking whey protein after workout muscle fibers will recover faster and will have better muscle growth.

How much of Whey protein is recommended daily use.

Athletes often consume abou 30 grams of whey per day (one scoop).
Profi bodybuilders who want more weight gains generally takes about 100 - 150 grams a day. Extremely high doses of whey are not recommended because the liver can be burdened and you will have less effect.
