I have worked from home off and on for the last 15 years. WHen the kids were here life was more hectic. Now that it's just me all day, I find myself settling into a more routine schedule and NO interruptions- at least from children.

Wow. 15 Years, that is encouraging. My major reason why I wanted to work form home is in preparation for starting a family.
In my experience... working from home has had more advantages than disadvantages.
I started working from home when my three kids were in junior and senior high schools. BUT with all their extra-curricular activities, they kept me bouncing.
The main downfall was learning to separate home time from the work day.
