Hatred in the world - Judging blindly

in #life7 years ago

Why Most of the people are so Judgemental in the world?

Every  good citizen of the society will tell people that they don't judge people but let face it knowingly or unknowingly most of the people do it time to time.Every person try to judge people on basis of  their Believes or Caste or Sex or Name or Country or Age or Education or and many more , the list will keep going. The scholars do it because they are too wise for general public , illiterate do it because the society had made them believe, The rich do it to maintain their class, Good looking people do it to look cool among their friends .

Take an Example of Pakistan

Go to any part of the world and asked anyone what's the first word come to their mind when they hear the word Pakistan. Most of them will reply Terrorist in an instant .

Most of the world think its a country where terrorist lives and if you go their you will die.Its true that their are terrorist in Pakistan but isn't that applicable to every country. Its mostly the media which create a false image of country like Pakistan and people without any exploration blindly follow.

Look at those picture there are thousand of them in Pakistan,  don't want to visit places like this before you die.The people of Pakistan are just normal people like rest of the world .They care for their love ones ,they like to help someone in need ,they want to make their career, they are afraid of terrorism .

Here is an excellent artwork picture from Johnhain at Pixabay.

A wise man once said a picture says 1000 words and this is a kind of picture which says more than 1000 words. Most of the people are ready to fight for their believes ,its a fight between their believes and your believes and if you don't agree with them then they will blindly judge you.

Benefits a person or a society gets to Judge others -

  • The Most important benefit I think is the psychology of I'm right and you are wrong, I'm good and you are bad.
  • It give power to the person who judges and make other person weaker.
  • It helps to maintain your position in small groups of society.
  • It helps to achieve certain goals for different groups of society.

Disadvantages to the single person and the whole world -

  • It discourage every human being at some points of their life to not to do the thing they liked.
  • It makes Humanity weak, the purpose of humanity is to help each other instead of that it bully each other.
  • Certain people never rise back in their life due to it.
  • The most importantly it divide people ,instead of making the world a peaceful united place it make it a hell.
  • It creates a fake sense of rudeness ,superiority, power and wealth to human minds.

How can someone  bring a change

The first thing to do is to Stop judging people based on what you have heard or someone closer to you believes, instead explore and do some research of your own and then make your decision.Secondly,Don't just go with the crowd what they say if you feel something is wrong than stand out and rise your voice.Thirdly,Remember you are human and your primary goal should be always humanity( to help someone in need).Lastly, don't be an arrogant human their is nothing in this big world that you own will last forever ,everything will buried in soil one day. Just think like this you have come to visit an hotel for a limited time and make your stay peaceful by making the hotel a more beautiful place so that future guest can enjoy as well as you did.

Great & complete post about judgement, it is already complete in conveying message, i just want to add a little thing that everyone should start by holding our-self accountable & correct our-self first , an individual cannot change whole system but he/she can definitely change him/her self.

Its confirmation bias, and everyone has it.. You can recognize it and stop it to some degree, but no matter what its within is.. Good post though. Pakistan looks like a cool place. Keep working hard, making good posts yo. Best of luck

Thank you my friend for the advice

Well, the problem is mostly with those who never seen anything beyond the limits of their village/county/state. I had no chance to visit Pakistan but been in few countries which had an external opinion of being "war-zone" and all things looked different from inside. I am sure it's the same in case of Pakistan.

IMHO one should never form opinions based on information obtained from third parties be it TV, government agencies or internet.

Atleast some humans are still left with humanity.

Steemit gives you an unique chance to spread some positive propaganda about your country so you may as well use it to fight those misguided beliefs :-)

I don't know if most people hate the pakistani people. But what they do hate is some of the laws enforced there. And some of the culture. I'm sure that there are good people and bad, just as any other place. But the fact that they have blasphemy laws for example is a real turn-off. And constantly butting heads with India so any one of them might start a nuclear war isn't helping.

Judging is normal. We judge people on their actions (at least sane people do it like that). And then judging a group that holds values similar to values one hates is a pretty good predictor of individuals in that group. It's not always correct, but ... it's less risky.
