Living In Another Country For The First Time

My Stay In London, England

I am now officially living in another country for about 6 weeks which to me is a long time. When I write this post, one week will have gone by faster than ever imagine. It is actually not that bad, I thought I would be homesick by now but "nope".

I have my own flat which is owned by the company I am working with. It is pretty comfortable, I got a kitchen, a bed and a bathroom so I couldn't be more happy about that. The surrounding area is not the best which I have noticed by experience,(a lot of drugs the area).

The most interesting thing about living on your own in general is that your habits change for the better. I think it is because I have to take more responsibility which is hard but beneficial. I have learned a lot just during this week.

However, it has been some ups and downs. About two days ago I was making an avocado toast and when I was going to cut the avocado I cut my thumb. I started to bleed and I almost fainted actually but I made good use of my skills as a doctor's son and stopped the bleeding. I bit of a panic moment I am to admit but I am fine now.

I just thought I should update you guys about how the weeks was when it came to my stay in this new flat. I hope the coming weeks go well. Fingers crossed.
