So, the grandchild that's coming is a boy, and he will be the second grandson and the third grandchild. My youngest already has a daughter and my oldest has a son.

I've not really been to a baby shower, either. Men don't normally attend (though some do), which is fine with me. I think it's nice for the women who want to do something to get together. I imagine it's similar to a bridal shower, or on a much smaller scale, a wedding reception. Gifts almost always, with games or some other kind of fun, and some snack food, since they don't ever seem to want to just make lunch or something. :)

Egg hunts can be fun, but a lot of times, especially for the younger kids, they can be hard because all the larger kids take the eggs. As it is, I've never understood what eggs have to do with Easter, but anyway, that's me. :)

re: baby pictures

My daughter-in-law doesn't like posting baby or child pictures on the internet. As far as I know, there aren't any of our granddaughter, since we've been asked not to do it. So, we'll just call him cute and leave it up to the imagination, I guess. :)
