Thanks @exyle. As always, I love your positivity about this. I don't think crypto is trending because it what's most people are interested in though. I think it's trending because it what's most people with power are interested in.

The trending section belongs to a specific sector of Steemians. The cast majority have absoutely no chance getting on that page, even using voting bots. It's a real shame I feel because, in a sense it is the storefront that new people to the platform see and it's no way representative of what's here.
