I love Stroopwafels. Here in Canada, you can only find them at specialty stores though. Occasionally, you can find a restaurant that has the proper equipment to make them, but that is rare.
So, when I find them, they are definitely a real treat!!!

I know them as Dutch Waffle Cookies.
I found these at the store today.
When I brought them up to the cash register, they scanned at $99.99. I asked the cashier to check the price. He scanned it again, it came out at $99.99 . I asked myself ... did the price of these cookies go up due to the influence of @exyle?
He voided the $99.99 and gave them to me for $1. Then sent someone to the back room to reprogram the price.
Man, that's awesome! I laughed at your story. $99 is a bit much! $1 is a great price. Enjoy the stroopwafels!
My guess is that they were $9.99, but I was very happy with $1.
