This seems to be a Christian orientated post. I believe that many good ideas are recorded in the bible. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite sayings is that the bible is Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. (Notice the anagram) However, I am not a Christian.
Because in my eyes there are just too many problems with their understanding of the Bible. Don't hate the player (the bible) hate the game (Christianity) Problems that are far too many to enunciate here. So I'll stick to the subjects in the video.
The problem with the historian Josephus is the same as the problem textual criticism. One can not go around the world burning books ( case in point, the great library of Alexandria, the biggest library of that time. Which also just happens, to have existed at the time in question) Do you think it might have had some books of interests? And then have some guy tell me he will use textual criticism to prove his point. From my point of view, that makes accuracy, authenticity, and integrity impossible.
One of my my biggest concerns is that many Christians say that they go by the Bible, well they go by it, but do they actually look into it to see what is written? The proof that the Christian viewpoint of the Bible is in error, is in the Bible itself. Read (Galatians 4 verses 22-24) if you still don't get it read and listen to http://yourl.geneticmemory.org/meat
Before I said basic instructions before leaving earth. The Bible (to me) is a book to teach you about you call it the manual for existence. So when Jesus talks about himself he is telling me/you what we can become. Is it not written in the Bible that "Ye are gods, sons of the most high? Who is it again that he said he was? Is it not written in the Bible that "I make good and evil?" Look around yourself, who makes good and evil? The son of man makes good and evil. In the video John 14:9 is used " if you see me, you have seen God" and "I and the father are one." is used.
In the video, the speaker says that there are 3 possibilities to what Jesus was referring to when he said that he was God. But he missed a forth possibility! That possibility is that it was true, and you didn't understand what he was saying.
As far as C.S.Lewis is concerned he makes a critical error of thinking that there can only be light or dark, hot and cold. Not true.
Then what is the grey area? What is the warm spot? The gray area and the warm spot is that the Bible is about your part in existence. That we are spiritual beings, experiencing a physical existence. That we are here (right now) to know. And how else can we know if we don't experience it?

Use the magic in your mind, redefine lines.
READ THY FINE LINES!
Sorry but your points are all over without real pointed reasoning, and you jump to another point without digging in to what you are trying to say about the first point. I tried to follow your post but not really helpful, even if you are trying to discount Christianity.
Who am I?
BORIS!
Boris, Maybe you should watch the video. Then you may see that I was responding to points made in the video. At this point, your post is impossible to respond to. If you are going to reply try not to be so vague. Also if you don't know who you are how can I? Next time try "I am"
That audio file on the site you linked to is quite an interesting one! Perhaps one day in the future they will write books about us and say, yes, they were correct and the bible was misunderstood all these years! Jesus was likely NOT a nut case, but the people around him just couldn't understand what he was saying! You and a lot of other people like myself have a different view of what is being said in the Bible, but there is a huge resistance to changing one's perspective. Just like the early prophets, we tell what we have been inspired to say. And like the early prophets, we are considered mad. Only after our deaths will people study our words and finally see that there could be truth there. A new Bible needs to be written in modern language from modern prophets.
Just learning to use this site, and not very well. But I do agree.
Welcome to Steemit. The wiki might be of some help to you:

I made a couple of posts for newcomers, but they are now way down my blog list. Its a complicated site to use and not a whole lot of documentation exists for the more obscure things here. Many authors have created helpful posts, but the wiki is the most centralized resource I can think of.
Almost forgot reply. That a really good post happy. Thanks
Will check it out Thanks
