Hey my dear Friends.... Here I am with the results of my earlier Contest and the announcement of a new one....!!
At first, Let me Thank each one of you who had participated. I had never expected that I would be receiving more than 25 entries!! I am extremely grateful for all of you for your great participation and am very happy for the love and sentiments you are having towards your Grandparents!!🙏🙏🙏
Indeed it was a difficult task for me, to choose from a large number of entries. Everyone expressed their feelings in a unique way... But as I told you in my post, I went with a way of choosing, giving more value for sentiments.... Some of the posts even made my eyes moist!!
Congratulations everyone!!
You all have been honored already with my full upvote, as well as some upvotes from my Son @firepower, for your great participation entry here!! You might have noticed that already I think... :)
Here is an advice... Since all of you have written in a beautiful way, you can copy this post of yours, edit it by removing the reference to my name and do some corrections if you want and please post this as a separate blog again with the tags - life, sentiments, story, blog etc. I've noticed that some of you have already done it, which is really well and good.. You will be able to get some more upvotes from other Steemians too!!. Especially a young steemian and still a student @amanrazz (16 years old) has written so well with the pictures and though the post was really good, as it exceeded 3 times more than my prescribed length :), So I could not consider it for the first place!. But such posts are really good and can be posted as a separate blog.....
And my dear Friends... You all will be included in my followers list.. So you may get my random upvotes now and then for your good posts, here onwards. But please do remember ;)... I told that - for your good posts! So please make sure that you are giving some good, valuable stuff here ok? Because steemit is mainly a writing platform.... :)
Now here are the winners...
- @the-fundraiser
- @yahuzahope
- @veronica.mart.
All the above three will be getting my one upvote daily for a week from today onwards, Till next Sunday!...
And now I have also chosen 3 more Steemians who have won my heart!!...
- @amanrazz
- @chetanshetty
- @deewhy07
You three will be getting my one upvote for 3 days (total 3 upvotes) anytime within a week, for some of your good posts.
So congratulations and much love to all the winners!!😀😘

Yes Friends, read this carefully...!
In your student life, there may be a teacher (He or She), whom you have liked or loved most, have given a very good place in your heart, have good respect for that person even today... I mean your favorite teacher!!
So write the name of that teacher, with the name and place of your school or college..
And what is that reason you liked, or have respect for him or her, so much...?
Whether he or she knows about steemit?? If so, what is that person's steemit name?
Again don't go on writing too long. Write very precisely not exceeding 100 words... I am not going to consider the entries violating the rules, even though the good ones,Ok?
You have to answer in the comments section below itself, by writing about this within 100 words. Please don't describe the whole school episode !! ;)
You can submit your entry till next Saturday 12 noon IST. (But submit your entry as soon as possible!.) Entries received after that will not be considered...
And I will be choosing 2 winners for 7 upvotes each, (a upvote daily for 7days) and another 2 for 3 upvotes. If the number of participants is too many, then I might be going to share the upvotes.....:)

Hi... Welcome to my next contest!
Mine was Mrs Alesh of the Chapel Secondary School. I was in S.S.S 3 when she was my instructor and I developed to like her classes and the subjects like Atomic and Quantum physics. Despite everything I read her sparkling remark on my report sheet in my S.S.S 3, that I was "great at perusing, even troublesome words." I figured out I may have been her most loved understudy at secondary school, or perhaps one of her top picks and she and my mother kind of wound up familiar. She is late now, she kicked the bucket 2years ago. It was extremely tragic. Her sibling is hitched to one of my cousins. What a little world, may her spirit rest in peace, So be it.
Thanks @geetharao for this Initiative to support Minnows & My Story is Going to Start Now
There was my favourite teacher when I was in matric, Basically He was teacher of Chemistry & His techniques of teaching were fantastic but along with teaching He was very punctual & I think I never Saw him late Due to these characters He was my Favourite and Now He is is China and Doing His PhD in Chemistry.
I hope you will like my Teacher Story @geetharao
Hi @ajmalaftab... It's not possible for me to read your story. Please delete it and repost it in normal size letters..
There comes a time in life when you're developing from various perspectives, all at one time. In the event that you were lucky, you had a lecturer that you regarded and appreciated. I had such an instructor, Dr. Ahmed Aliyu, my Agricultural Economics lecturer at the University of Ilorin, my first year.
He wasn't a simple instructor. He and I turned out to be close as we played tennis together and that fellowship has kept going consistently. From the time he encouraged me, I generally felt he saw something in me that nobody else ever did, and he truly rode me to understand my maximum capacity.
Dr. Ahmed, as I usually call him, had a vast enthusiasm for educating and learning and he showed me it was alright to blend business with delight. A genuine lecturer, gifted, splendid, and all around cool person … he investigated everything. He was an awesome audience and he urged me the significance of going after learning. He genuinely took pleasure in instructing and learning.
As a crypto investor i found steem so late then i went through some youtube videos and learned about this stuff.in my initial days i was going no where and dont know what to do.
Luckily we have amazing bunch of people who are around us they really matters for me specially @geetharao i feels her like my mother, does not fair to say like that but as a orphan steemit has provided me a family.
Hi dear @christian.danny... I searched for your intro post. But couldn't find. Could not understand that word in your comment.... orphan...?
Love and regards.... :)
My favorite teacher and I remember her with a lot of affection is called Janneccy Moreno, she does not have an account on this platform. When I read about this contest, I was excited because last week I was remembering it. She was my guide and biology teacher at La Salle (Margarita Island - Venezuela); She is very passionate in her work, she made all my colleagues and I were interested in nature, we went camping many times. It was so special that we chose her as the godmother of our graduation (year 1997). She is the one who appears in the center of the photo.
This is the pics of me, my classmate and my class teacher when i was in jss1 .
The name of the teacher that i liked most is Mr Tunde Abolarin. He is the best teacher that i know. He taught me business studies when i was in jss1 and was my class teacher. He was the most persistent teacher that i have ever had. Back then i was not brilliant (do not want to say i was dull) but he believed in me and even punished me when need, even though it was painfully and i hate it then but now that i am doing great, i now appreciate his impact in my life.
For what it worth i really love him. I will alway remember him and his impact in my life. He is the best even though he is not on steemit.
I have many great memories of my several teachers I had growing up in school because I considered them to have great minds and great talents to be able to inspire people like myself and others my age. I remember how one teacher in second grade always cared when we were sick or not feeling well and when I showed a little weakness in math, she became concerned because I was normally excellent in mathematics.
Then I had a science teacher in high school who always showed the class practical uses for sciences since this was still physical sciences. We learned plant science, a little chemistry and physics. It was very interesting.
My favorite teacher was mrs simon. She was my class teacher from jss1- 3 and she taught me social studies. She was like a mother away from home. she took good care of me both in maintaining my attitude and character. I respected her so much couz of her advise and she is a very understanding woman. The way she gives her teaching in class is very unique.... She is just so amazing. She not just my most favorite but the best I ever had. And to finish it all she is a word of her words.
Here is a copy of her remark.
First of all, I want to thank @geetharao for this opportunity. to express our feelings for that person who earned respect and affection. and of whom I speak is my teacher and tutor @veronicasmb, who was an excellent person with me, thanks to her who did not give up and believed in me and my thesis topic. That was my greatest strength not to give up and keep fighting, despite all the setbacks I was suffering. one of them did not have the impressions of my volumes and theses. that was very important, because without that I could not expose, and in spite of not having the money, I help in this way and therefore I look for help and nobody had it. I decided to talk to the teacher, who was not going to continue because I did not have the resources and with tears in my eyes she said: I was going to do everything possible to continue and not abandon my career. I knew how much effort there had been there. and so it was, I talk to her sister so that she can print my volumes at work, risking her work. These are anecdotes that I will never forget. and now I am what I am, graduated and totally grateful for it.
I have amazing memories with my statistics teacher who also happened to be my math teacher . He was so open with me and all the time I could talk to him whenever I wished to . As it was ,I was an amazing student but so talkative that one day , he punished me to stand for 10 minutes and all I did was just stand there grinning . Then it so happened that we used to disturb the class , I remember my classmate who disturbed him a lot and the whole class used to burst in laughter . Indeed in each class , I was the 'calculator' girl . If he needed the answer to a question regarding calculator , I would punch the buttons quickly and answer him while everybody were still calculating the result . Now everytime, he looks at me expecting the answer which I always give . An amazing friend makes a wonderful teacher.
My high school English teacher Johnson Stephenson went above and beyond to allow me the opportunity to dive into theater and acting in a very underfunded arts community. He saw passion in me, and engaged it by spending a lot of his own time and effort to help me pursue something I loved. I learned so much from him and got more personalized experience than I probably would have from a more arts-focused curriculum due solely to hIs faith in me. Words actually can't describe him, he made me keep going and helped me to get to where I am today. Anytime I remembered him, I always cry and pray for him.
My favorite teacher is miss ayeni. She is my class teacher too and takes attendance daily in the morning. She is a strict teacher however very funny and caring in nature. She is very disciplined and punctual. She does all the works and projects related to the class at right time without getting late. I like her very much as she tries very easy ways to teach us good things. We enjoy her class. She teaches us English subject. She makes us laugh by telling lots of jokes in between when she teaches. She also guides us very well during any school or inter-school competition of dance, sports, academic, etc. She teaches us to share things in class among our colleagues such as lunch or other needed things.
My best teacher was my class teacher in junior class. Her name was Mrs oyabambi. Maths was her major subject. She follows very easy and effective teaching strategies to teach us all the subjects. I never miss her class and attend daily. I like the way she teaches us as we do not need to study that subject at home again. We become very clear about the topic she teaches us in the classroom. After clearing the concept of topic, she gives us some exercises in the class and also home work for the home. Next day, she asks questions related to the yesterday topic and then start another topic. In spite of the subject, she teaches us good ethics and etiquette also to make us strong by character. however; her teachings will always be with us and show us way to difficult situations. She is very caring and loving in nature. She has been the gold medalist in the university she got her higher education. She would always be my best teacher.
I am Pricasso most wonderful artist. My favourite teacher was Ms Nicholas, not only was she a most beautiful young fine specimen of the fairer sex, she taught Pricasso art. Pricasso was never much of an academic, but I always had the most amazing flair for creativity and art and she nurtured that and she encouraged that. Pricasso, thanks to Ms Nichols has became a most wonderful artist.
I am not sure where Ms Nichols is today as this was maybe 30 years ago when Pricasso was a mere lad, but I am sure she is encouraging nurturing making folks smile and teaching them most wonderful lifes lessons.
In your honor and dedicated to you @geetharao I have created for you another most wonderful masterpiece
The blog and masterpiece here in dedication to you here. https://steemit.com/art/@pricasso/3aeyuw-my-ode-to-geetharao

In high school I had a very special person who explained to us the chair of physics, he was not only my teacher and friend, I also have the good luck that he is my father, but he did not have facilities in the subject "going", the he was more strict with me than with my other companion, he always told me -you have to set the example. I remember one of the many pranks I wanted to do with my classmates and I could not do it was in an exam my friends did not want to do the exam and invented thousands of excuses, I could not say anything because this teacher knew everything about my life, for that part was well scrubbed. During that year I could not leave with my friends because my guardian was always there. But thanks to him and how strict he was with me in class, I managed to graduate and some of my friend did not. THANK YOU PAPÁ GRACIAS, DEAR PROFESSOR.
A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. .....
Her name is Mrs. Idris, the name of my school is federal government college, ilorin, Nigeria.she is the best of the best teacher.... Her presence and achievement is highly invaluable in my life.
She instill knowledge, intellect, love, and beating in me....... I mention beating right?? Oh yeah!!! She is a no nonsense woman. Shes not a steemian rather an educationist... Ordinary teachers would let his/her students what life is all about. Extraordinary teachers like you let students discover life on their own while watching over their backs.... She stood firmly from the unset
The most wonderful part of her is that, she always encourage me to think always in a different perspective....... She like the saying of ben carson "Think big"... Thats the watchword which she taught me with
Shes one in a million💝
Beautiful... Thank you for participating in this contest..
Write a bit about your favorite teacher.
Hello @geetharao my favorite teacher was Esther, she gave me classes in the beautiful celestial Angel school, this was in primary school the photo is she and I in a diploma delivery, she was my favorite teacher, she was very loving with her students, she helped me a lot with my shyness she cared about me since I did not interact with the other students I did not have friends. So one day I spoke with my parents and told them that to help me socialize that they would take a toy to school and play at the playground, it was like little by little I went out of the shell, had problems with maths and she had patience with me she taught with all her heart and she also gave me an important advice "always be yourself, and do not let your fears stop you".
Hello, @geetharao in this opportunity I am going to talk about a very special teacher for me she called Soledad Chávez, and I had the great opportunity to be advised by her in my thesis to obtain my degree in administration, she supported us to the whole group in the elaboration of our thesis, but I also have to point out that she is a beautiful person in which she does not spare her time to guide us in our work, she was very demanding but also aware that we were some new girls who were hardly We began to shape our future, thanks to Soledad for being our mentor, we have no word to thank her for the great support she gave us. Sincere person and friend because after that experience we became inseparable, I tell my teacher and is upset that for her we are friends.
Thanks@geetharao for this contest... When I saw the topic, only one person flashed through my mind...
The best of all teachers I have encounted, his name is Mr olasumbo koiki, a biology teacher in my zumratul islammiyah seconday school, his class is never boring, he will explain the topic in a way that even a dullard will understand one or two things
When he enters a class, he has the power to control all the student, not by cane but by the way he teaches..i can never forget him. Biology is my best subject and he deserves the honour....he is not on steemit...
My favorite teacher is called: José Hernández. I had the pleasure of being her student in the subjects: food engineering and food preservation processes. He became my favorite teacher because besides being a very prepared person he was very responsible in his activities. Unfortunately, due to the economic situation of our country Venezuela had to emigrate to Spain. That affected me a lot like and the rest of the university because it was an elementary part of it. In the photo that I show you was your last day with us, we give you a recognition for all your contributions. The tears when saying goodbye could not be missed, today we miss him more than ever.
@geetharao Nice to see so many interesting contests you are organizing:-)
I am glad to tell about one of my favorite teacher at South School, Volakad, Udupi. His name is Srikantha Dutta and we used to call him Dutta teacher. He was my science teacher till SSLC. I used to sit in front row. As we all know the front row is the hot seat and most of the questions from teacher is thrown to the first bench students. He used to pick me and couple of other friends regularly and ask some questions about the previous day lessons. I had no option but to read the previous day lessons and come prepared for the next day. Else, traditional punishments like standing on the bench or standing outside the class was inevitable.
Because of regular study of science subject, I used to score good marks in Science, where as in other subjects I used to score only average. For the final exam also I didn't have to study extra hard as all the lessons were already studied and memorized.
My favorite teacher
Hello @geetharao, thanks for the contest, my favorite teacher was named Richard in the urban creation school, it was that I had the experience of knowing this great person, who marked my childhood, he was my sports teacher, I did not like doing sports and it was bad playing football and volleyball was about to fail the subject so the teacher offered to give me classes other than sports.
We saw each other in a stadium and there I trained with other students, nowadays everything I have learned I owe to him, I thank him very much for everything he taught me, he is an excellent person that I admire a lot.
Learn as if you were to live forever. He who learns but does not think, is lost! He who thinks but does not learn is in great danger.... The name of the teacher i hated most in my high school is Mr.Friday, because of his hostility... But as time goes on, he taught me in grade3 and i discover that he isnt wicked but only strict. With time i develop a great atom of likeness for him
He also discover my adherence to authority and my interest in learning for that i became one of his best student
The name of my school is FIVEWAYS INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE.... I dont have my teachers picture, it would have been best if i have😫😫😫
Hi @deji1... Thank you so much for participating in this contest..
My best teacher so far is the man standing in this picture named mr ibrahim. When i was in junior secondary school class he was my english teacher.he impacted greatly on me because whenever I did something wrong he would call me to his office talk to me and descipline me if i failed to adhere to to his correction and later in the day buy me sweet and biscuit .I love him he is jovial, play with us,sing for us whenever we are bored in his class i just cherish him like that😀😀..i could remember vividly his watchword "if you believe, you can defeat. stand up to your feet and say no to your defeat" and today this words keep me going higher both interlectually and morally
When I was studying third grade, I was reigning in school. My teacher was very happy because my family would bother the house through the window and that's how it was. The day before the coronation I spent the whole night making a scroll with the words I would say to the public, but at the time of the coronation I addressed the public with my own words and the scroll did not open it, she made me sign but I did not I understood Years passed and whenever I saw her she said: Sile the parchment, the parchment! And he laughed remembering that day.
Postscript: I do not have photos of that teacher, since that was so many years ago.
My Entry:
Every teacher is good but for me she is the best teacher. Her name is Gunjeet Gandhi and she was my class teacher in class 8.here is an pic of her....
Let me tell you why i love her the most as a teacher...
She is very charming and has a vast knowledge of science, and best part is that she is the most friendly teacher who know each student very well and this makes a strong bond between us..we never felt so friendly with other teacher,
She never rebukes or punishes anyone for his mistake rather she helps one to over his mistake...
She has many rare qualities and her way of teaching is so easy n lucid..she knows how to increase students curiousty and focus one mind to study...moreover she is very fluent in english...
She was very kind, honest, helpful and she had a great sense of homour...never a period of her has gone without laughter...
She was the one who inspires ,motivates and pushes our mind to explore knowledge...she has left a permanent impression in my mind and heart.....
She is the best teacher
I really think i have the best grandparents in the world....sharing my memories with them even made me a winner , R.I.P to them...thanks
@geetharao
Please participate in my next contest as well...
Here is my entry:
Teacher is a person who always helps everybody to get the knowledge and always stands beside the students when they have problems. Thanks Mr Suhail for being my teacher.
He is not only a counselor or a coach, but a man with an inspiring out look on life.He always appreciated me and has a big role in shaping my personality.
I would say he has a great influence on my life and education because he made a very strong foundation on Mathematics. His teaching and influences changed my way of thinking about math and later on, math became my one the most favourite subject.
There is every reason to get inspired from him
Well he is not on steemit ,otherwise i would have mentioned him but still a big thank you to him for all the love i recieved from him
thanks alot for this contest
it was our last year of schooling. I was crying because we couldn't control ourselves. Some how I tried to control myself Then my chemistry teacher asked me not to cry, she said you people have more days to go. When she spoke to me, again I was in tears and I felt helpless. I hugged her and I started crying , didn't have a feeling that I'm hugging a teacher but, she gave the feel of a mother . Then after few minutes I controlled myself and I saw her in tears but she tried hard to control herself.
SHE IS NOT ON STEEMIT , I REALLY WISH I COULD GO ON MORE THAN 100 WORDS....i really miss (mrs anita).
Hi @the-fundraiser... You are from Nigeria, when I referred to your intro post. But here you have given the picture of your teacher who looks like an Indian! Is it so?In fact.. Are you studying in India?
