Sorry to hear you are feeling so rotten after being in such a long waiting queue full of smelly vehicles! It is the worst, even more so when you are used to living in the rural jungle where there is always clean air. I am sure more should have been done to make everyone turn their cars off, I am surprised the employees don't mind it to the point of doing nothing about it... they must've lost their sense of smell!
