Pics from a day at the pool and cute swimsuit ideas!
Lather Up
Sun safety is sooo important! Applying sunscreen isn’t just one part of the Pool Day process, but several parts! We recommend you put sunscreen on before you leave the house, when you get to the pool, and every hour until you leave. There are so many great sunscreens out there – extra protection, all natural, expensive, inexpensive, sensitive to skin, etc. So whatever type you’re looking for, find it and buy it! You won’t regret it.
Bring a Floatie
We love the half-in, half-out position. You know the one, where you can feel the water but the warmth of the sun at the same time. The best way to achieve this is by bringing your floatie! It keeps you cool but not too cold – and it keeps your hair dry for those of you who never go under (you know who you are).
Food
Pool Day Pizza
Pizza is by far the best poolside food. Pack your snacks and bring the pizza cash for your day at the pool. Some other snacks that are good are popcorn, energy bars (the heat drains your energy, so it’s good to boost up), lots of water and juice, and your favorite candy. Make sure you don’t bring something that will melt!
Here are some pics from a day we spent at the pool! I am obsessed with this swimsuit so I wanted to do a whole post on it. It’s so cute and comfy and I love the pattern! The Urban Outfitters website says they are almost gone so purchase soon if you are interested! I also have some other cute swimsuits linked below if you want to check those out as well. We are at Coachella for the weekend which has been really fun, but I am so behind on travel posts still so more of those are coming soon :) Hope all you guys are having a great weekend!
I am Groot! :D
