The reason for the instability in a person's life is his lack of control of his soul. A person's soul is every time ready to roam here and there, thinking continuously of the ineffective times, wasting time on unnecessary things, indulging irrelevant fears and behaving stupidly each time in spite of knowing all these things. Isn't it right friends? Our instability in life comes from the in-stable state of our soul. So, what matters most is conquering one's soul without fearing the uncertainties of the future.
This is because we all get one life. And we all also know that happiness and sadness come in pairs. So, if we know it completely that if we are having bad times, they will pass away anytime soon and vice-versa if we are having good times, we may face bad times in the near future. Because we cannot be happy all the time and also we cannot be sad all the time. One should realize that no matter how difficult times are, the soul must always win. Like if we lose our soul, then we lose everything.
Now, the point is what is the main reason which makes people fear everything. And the answer is "Change". According to me, what people fear the most is the change. It is always hard for people to embrace change, especially in the situations where they get too close to somebody or something. I am saying this because even I am afraid of change the most. Although, I know that things go for better. But still, change scares me large and sometimes to some extent.
Conquering one's soul is an art and obviously, not everyone is born to become an artist. Some are born artists, some struggle to become, and some struggle and fail. What I want to say is, if you are going ahead in life with the unstable state of mind and soul, please stop there. Because in the end, what matters most is the peace of mind. One should learn the art of conquering one's soul. If he gets there, he gets everywhere and gets everything he wants.
I believe soul is a sum total of our heart, our logical mind, our creative mind and our subconscious mind. So when we talk about conquering our souls, we are basically talking about conquering both our heart as well as those three aspects of our mind - an awfully difficult thing to do and people who are able to do that are truly the blessed ones. However for people who aren't blessed, I guess the best possible thing they can try to achieve is some kind of a harmony between all of those four constituent elements of the soul. The day your heart and your mind starts uttering a similar tune, more than three-fourths of all of your life's worries will disappear in a very short time haha.
Now, speaking of change, yes, it is indeed what people fear the most. Nobody likes change but then nobody really has any option to avoid it. Change is as inevitable as monsoon after summer - could get delayed but it will arrive, for sure. The best thing is to start considering and living life as a season, like the Japanese do. So if you're having a good present, consider it as a spring and be prepared for a summer onslaught in the future. And if you're having an awful present, consider it as just another winter that you will have to survive anyhow because soon spring will be knocking on your door.
I really appreciate your philosophies about life. As we all grow up, we get into complexities of life. The more we try to understand what life is trying to teach us, the more it tests our patience. Important thing here is as I always say, is moving ahead with a stable mind and consistency.
Do you know about the law of attraction or do you watch Sadhuguru's videos? If not I suggest you do. You will have your mind blown away when you know the truth about life and the universe. Good luck :)
I did watch his video about the law of attraction after you suggested. And, I came to the conclusion that I am in need to watch all the videos by him. He explained everything so well that I got to realize how the things actually work.
Awesome!! I am glad you were able to realize his wisdom.
But you should also check out the documentary named "The secret" and also the book by the same name written by Rhonda Byrne.
Yes
I will surely check it out. :):)
