You make an imperative point here. When I spend time with a person, or in an environment, the lines of where they end and where I begin tend to get a bit blurry.
Do I really feel this way about myself, or is this how I feel that others perceive me?
How can I even assume the feelings of these others, when their feelings are so personal, filtered through their own experiences?
Even if their thoughts about me happened to be unsavory, would they even have the tools to judge me, knowing nothing of my own experiences?
