RE: ⏺ Giveaway time!! New series.. Inspire Me #1

Paying it forward.

We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.
~Sir Winston Churchill

The most inspirational thing I can think about is further amplified by your own 4th obligation:

(Optional) - You may upvote this post if you like what I do here. I am not here for the money, so it is your choice.
Emphasis mine.

As such, you should adhere to the true spirit of paying it forward and:

  1. Decline payout
  2. Give away the same amount as this post would have earned to 4 winners (whether in SBD or in leased delegated SP equivalent to the prize money - up to let's say SBD 250 or the equivalent in leased delegated SP, I would actually say up to 500, given your average post revenue that is very reasonable IMHO)
  3. Promise to regularly hold a similar giveaway (promise complete with schedule or frequency so you can be held accountable to it if required)
  4. Not covertly incite to upvote as you do in #4 but straightforward and unashamedly make people hit that upvote button because @enazwahsdarb puts his foot where his mouth is and makes things happen.
  5. [Optional] Offer winners the option to forward the prize to a charitable organization or to another Steemian.
  6. Reject the opportunity to get more eyeballs and skip on the compulsory chaintagging.

Paying it forward

You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have truly lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love.

Oh wow.. :D I find it funny.. It's like you are trying to say the opposite to everything hahaha :D

Nah just kidding. But yeah, I think those are some pretty bold points haha.

  1. Decline payout

Yeah.. I don't think I would ever do that. That's just wasting money hahaha :D

Isn't my $5 a nice prize for a comment? :P

Those are some pretty bold points.

You should've dropped that video in the first comment.. You would've won with ease haha!

That hit the spot.

Too easy. Contextually re-bold points it made sense.

As inspiration... old stuff. If you wanna read from the marketing and tribe building book, follow Guy Kawasaki. Check him on Wikipedia if you don't know him. Referring to him here is contextual too. ;)
