Several years ago I did lots of kayaking. Now I cannot do the extreme stuff anymore but still enjoy a relaxing float down the river.
This river is the middle branch of Escanaba river in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This section is deemed non-passable by the local river guides. It has never been completed in one go at time of recording this video. I attempted and made it about 1/4 of the way. I got slammed upside down and then had to get.

Too bad you didn't have a roll. Tomorrow I'll be I'm going to an indoor pool to practice mine. I started whitewater kayaking last spring. It's about the funniest thing I've ever done in my life. I can't wait till next spring because I'm signed up for two races and three clinics. I hope someday to teach.
