Beginner Circuit & Stretch

Hello out there! Thought I would give a little share of a beginners workout circuit and stretch I put together recently. My son and his girlfriend were kind enough to parttake in the circuit training. Give it a try!!

The workout;

The concept behind this particular circuit is to work on functionality, balance, cardio, strength and flexibility all in a short session. It takes about 30 minutes to complete the exercises and about 5 minutes for the stretch at the end.

To be clear on instructions, each exercise is performed one after the other for 1 minute each. Rest at the end of the sixth exercise for 1 minute. Then do it all again three more times!

Here is a short clip of the ladder taps (Agility)

Squats (Strength)

Handstand Kickup (Strength)

Tree Pose (Balance)

Superman and Plank (Stability)

This is the stretch sequence in action; there should essentially be a movement through like plank lowering to the floor between downward dog and upward dog, but these kiddos were pretty tired by the end :)
