Passion and calling

Passion means an intense desire or enthusiasm for something, you may be passionate for something or it means you have intense desire to do that, calling means a strong inner impulse towards a particular course of action. Human beings are often sentimental and emotional, we won’t ask dog or animal about their passion because they are not able to make any conscious decision ,animals are not able to think at the level of human beings ,we are capable of conscious decision making ,we have power to make conscious decision in our life since we are more than just a biological creature , we have a choice to channelize our action towards our desire but the problem with calling and passion are they are intentionally subjective in nature ,they may be differ from people to people ,they are very- very personal , we don’t need to relate our passion with anyone else we should follow our heart ,there are different passion for everybody with different caliber , literally passion and calling help us to find out our main motive or meaning of life , we can’t know about our passion and calling by simply sitting in house or by being introvert ,

we should go out of the area or outside the house to face the stiff competition from the world , passion or calling can be because of god gifted ,in the case of Sachin Tendulkar , A.R Rehman and many more extraordinary people are their whose passion is god gifted ,but it is not limited to that it is much beyond that calling can be developed through interaction ,work experience and activeness , for me also passion or calling kept on changing from time to time , it is not fixed , it changes from time to time in the different phases of life , In my childhood I wanted to be a doctor but when I was in class nine (IX) I realized that biology is not a cup of tea and not meant for me ,then my passion changes to Hindi professor then again I took up Economics as my core subject because I was fascinated toward Economics and I loved it . and in this way my passion and dream kept on changing on different phases of my life because of certain circumstances, so passion kept on changing , but if you form the habit of searching for the positive in every circumstances ,your life will move into its highest dimensions ,from struggle comes strength , even pain can be a wonderful teacher , knowledge and experience help us to differentiate between childhood fantasies and true calling .

self-awareness is first step towards knowing your own passion , being true to yourself that is the art of introspection is the first step towards building emotional intelligence , observation, self-awareness and analysis are there pillars to find out about passion ,the only way to find out what you like most is by doing it rather than observing it , Lord Budha said “appo dipo bhava” means be enlighten to yourself ,

we should try to be comfortable with uncomfortable as much as possible , stop making excuses stop fearing try out new things as as much you can , take risk as much as you can in your 20 s
