As enchanting as this island is for us adventure seekers, we must not forget that this place to primarily home to the wild. The sheer amount of different species of insect, animal and fish, is simply mind boggling. And, of course, the astounding beauty they themselves boost has to be seen to be believed.
For instance, the picture I took earlier day of this delicate little butterfly. Notice the artistic patterns on the wing, with the upper part resembling what looks like the eye of an owl. How nature played a part in creating such intricate eye-candy, I'll never know.
The next image shows another butterfly, which blends in perfectly once perched on any plant life it finds. You'd swear you were looking at one of it's leaves. The ultimate camouflage and protection against dangerous predators.
And lastly, these miniature four legged friends will happily scamper up and down your walls at night. Firstly, I was quite taken aback, but actually got used to them pretty fast. In fact, I'd go as far as to say they're rather cute!

I agree. If only we could persevere nature in its truest form like this even in more, shall we say, "modernised" habitats. This island speaks for itself.
Well we only can do the best we can in our daily routines to help as much as we can and try to learn and influence the people arpund us to be the best possible as well as being influenced and learn with them :)

How awesome is this? I didn't even see the second butterfly. I was still looking to see what might be happening on that picture. Really took me by surprise. I only really started paying more attention after reading now.
