I like to promote any project that I can find (and understand) on the Steem blockchain.
I have been here for a while and I remember that at Steemfest 1 (Nov 2016) busy.org was being developed. Nothing else besides steemit.com existed.
When busy.org came out it wasn't the greatest if I'm honest and that goes for almost any new project that has been build on top of the blockchain.
But low and behold given enough time busy.org turned into a beautiful project full of rich features that steemit.com does not even offer. (examples: notifications, activity filters, drafts).
And the same goes for d.tube which was bad to use at the start. It was no fun uploading your video 7 times x 15 minutes just to receive an unknown error at the end to have it finally work at try 8. But look at it now! It works great and it gets better with every update.
And the same goes for dlive. The website was a little rough at the start. But again....look at it now. I think it just had an overhaul and it looks fantastic. I started to use dlive myself to stream Streetfighter V and besides 1 small hiccup, it has been flawless so far.
Another example: The mobile app Esteem used to crash every 10 minutes on my phone. But the latest version has been rock solid and I use it every day.
And these are just a few projects that are already out and working. There are many more, big and small (check https://steemprojects.com/).
All of them add value to the Steem blockchain.
And now dporn and STEEMNews.Online are being developed. Both don't look great yet but that is something I saw before.
To me, It seems like every month new projects are being announced. Will they all succeed? Probably not, but man there are some beautiful things being build here on this blockchain.
I talk about it more in my vlog and I also talk about how I see SMT's having an impact on all these projects.

Adding value to the bolockchain is something good someone can ever do on the Steem blockchain. It really help a lot on the system and also in growing in the platform in person.
I have had much about SMT for long time, but am just waiting patiently for it to be lunched.

I wish Steemit was out of Beta. I think it would do alot for Mass adoption especially with the controversy surrounding Facebook at the moment. Remember us minnows guys we are the future.
Interacting with all apps on steem give it different flavors for all steemians.
SMT will sort it out for us.

Yes, that's true and not only they are improving even many other users and people are thinking of introducing new ideas over the steem blockchian which I like the most.
Because the more people join steem and use it for the development, the better it is for the community.

It is really interesting how many Apps we have now. I didnt know even that DPorn is excising. And I am glad to see this block chain growing . I am for a short time here, but many changes happened already :)

Another amazing thing that It has been able to achieve is that it has built a common platform either it is a developer, entrepreneur or be a simple user. Making the blockchain and open source grow

Bro what a coincidence today i use first time Busy.org Someone suggest be and that this site is great and i am happy to long in there.
I get notification who like my stuff, How much power i have, my voting power. The most i like in this site is "notification alert"
Even writing post have great feature, I can bold it, Italic, Heading, Hyperlink which is helpful for new users, Who don't know the code system.
D.tube is also one of great project for vblog and Esteem is best for voting because this way you can reward to max. people.
I recently started using dlive. I love it. I use steepshot for pics

You know the Steem ecosystem is growing when it's hard to keep up with all of the projects!! I am very happy with the growth of projects on Steem, this is one of the stronger fundamentals of our blockchain IMO.

Anyway, Mark I just bought 485 Steem last night and powered on Up. My recent post I talk about this. I wanted to get in at $1.60 Friday but my Funds hadn't cleared my Bank. So had to settle for $2.20 yesterday when it cleared. But just wanted to get my SP up. So excited about that and excited about being here for the long haul :)
Busy.org is just another front end. It's really nice. When it comes to curation rewards I don't think it differs from Steemit.com.
i still remember dtube had so much trouble but they keep pushing hard still a lot of improvement is needed but the team had showed great results with all the hard work which says a lot the steem blockchain is evolving :)
True, with the kind of Applications being developed on Steem blockchain, STEEMIT has now got the true potential to become a $500 billion Social Media very soon...This is now great opportunity to buy some Steem at cheap prices, before it starts its bull run once SMT's are launched later this month.....

Don't feel bad, I've stopped trying to understand it. I post on steemit for the simple reason that it seems to be free speech. It's also has a much better user interface than gab does (gab's interface is horrible).
What we need is somebody who fully understands Steem, and is able to not talk like a computer programmer, to explain it to us.
Is it possible for somebody to make a 5-minute video that explains blockchain, Steem, and steemit in layman's terms without computer jargon that only programmers understand?
We can still enjoy our community and even if it ends soon it was a good run..

Is there anywhere where you could propose a project? I've seen something that would really benefit from the Steemit mechanic and I think there is a gap and opportunity there. I can't develop it though. I can do a high level pitch but not much more.

Yes @exyle you are very correct. Slowly we are seeing a lot of project are getting complted or are in there final stage on steemit platform. Utility of any crypto currency will decide the future of it. We are seeing 10s of ICO coming every day. But the underlying platform does not have any real life use.
No doubts, doing what’s needed, then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. I guess that's just the way forward.
Exactly, day by day Every project is improving and develop on steemit. Even as a user, if someone continued to do all necessary activities on steemit and did not get discouraged by the challenges of being newbies Or minnows, one day he or she will get his feet. Like all you mentioned include @dlive, @dtube, @busy.org, and others started somewhere.

For now we can only speculate about that project and what effect it will have in our community, the idea looks useful, especially for people who post a lot everyday.
