Tonight after bringing Ezzy and Rea to the airport I powered up 2273 STEEM.
I guess that's what being around positive Steemians do to you :)
I'm almost at my goal now of 100K.
I have always said that I believe that earning STEEM tokens will be harder and harder in the future when more people join the Blockchain.
And I think I'm right in the assessment because just ask anyone that made 200.000 STEEM in the early days of blogging to do that again today.
That's about 2000 blogs worth $100 each. That's not easy all.
The Proof of Brain difficulty has gone up (I guess).
When more and more users will compete over a fix reward pool this difficulty will only increase in the future.
Now combine that idea with SMT's that need STEEM(power) (that is now harder to earn) to run (bandwidth) on a blockchain that in my mind is far superior to any other out there. (and most likely easier to implement on existing platforms as well).
I expect that liquid STEEM will become pretty popular, pretty fast.
Well, at least that is what I'm hoping for :)
What I do think is that personal troubles or feelings about Steemit.com should never be a reason to sell in my mind.
Always look at the technology and the potential.

I have a mix feeling about steem price.
For the last couple of weeks, it is under a dollar worth.
I wish I know what the future holds but steem is wacky price wise.

You seems to get it, but why do you not flag anything? IMO you're not showing the good example. Is it not easier to re-balance the ecosystem to flag when you see blatant abuse? Also when you see a "nice post" and see that the user is doing just that all day do you even flag that?
@transisto do you think there is a potential chance that steem devs will listen to their users and change the whole reward, upvote and post ranking system?

If you think of Steem dev as Steemit dev, no I don't think so. Time for independent devs to work on a fork.
My brother! Man, let me say that you're one of the nicest and best friends anyone could be lucky enough to have. That just needs to be said. An guys are incredible hosts and so hospitable. Youself and @bkdbkd are stars, simple as that.
And in regards to your new vlog, I also feel strongly about the choice to curate content how you see fit in whatever way you feel is fair. That's a right every steemian should have on the platform given their place in the community. Some may like it, some may not. But as with real life, is impossible to please everyone all of the time. I love Steemit, I say that with pride. And a large part of the reason is due to the mechanics "behind the curtain". A reflection of life if ever I saw it. Man, what an amazing eco-system!

People are joining the platform massively, that's why I am trying to get more steem, because it will be had to get steem in next 1 year from now, as the steemit is getting more popular.

I also agree with your concept in regards to steemit.com. After being at steemfest and hearing more of what ideas are being worked on, I actually see the current concept of steemit.com fading away a bit. Until then, I think we should be accumulating all that we can. As you say, steem will be very valuable. In my opinion, it will be so because of all the other applications. Furthermore, once it is widely discovered the efficiency of the steem block chain, we are off to the races.

Well i think you're right, last 6 months "vesting steem" (or powered up steem if you like to call it that) stayed about ~72% of total steem supply regardless of the price!

I think more and more people will join but staying in the community is another story. I think it's also a test of endurance. I hope stagnant accounts won't affect us so much. The fewer rewards people get, the greater the part of the population quits. - Just my opinion.
I try to earn now also when i can. I am spending a few hours each day on steemit. Later it will indeed be much more difficult but that means price went up aswell does it? So that would be a good thing :)
Proof of Brain is absolutely heating up. People sometimes don't realize that the more popular steem gets, the harder it becomes to earn good money here... it's a good thing, but not without its risks!
I think of it like hot sauce. The hotter the sauce, the more exciting it is. Some of the tastiest hot sauces are the spiciest. But of course it increases the level of challenge as well. Can you handle the heat??
Personally I advocate for a very spicy steem... only the best content can rise to the top. If people think it's competitive here, they should try to get on the front page of reddit... because that's what Steem will become (competition wise) in 5 years!!
If the value of STEEM goes up you can still earn nice rewards in dollar value but you will get less STEEM tokens. I never used Reddit much but from your reading, I'm guessing it's hard to get to the front page.

I have the same strategy. As long as it's under a dollar I'm buying. I use the market to do it instantly.

There are tricks withwhich you can lower time of constructing

I still have not fully grasped how popularity will affect the reward system. Maybe I will figure out in time. Since I see (my few 4000SP) vote value increases as steem value increases I guess the more people want steem the more I can reward with my votes? Or is this wrong to presume?
It's a stake based platform. The more stake (steempower) you have the more say you have over the reward pool and who gets what.

You are right my friend, now make quick and easy SP is completely impossible and in the future will be even more difficult. There is only one right way to go, this is to buy STEEM and transfer it to SP. So, I congratulate you, you have only a little bit more and the goal of 100,000 SP will be achieved, now only forward! How does the Reward pool behave ? Does it increase within the next years , is it fixed and will always stay at the current pool size or will it decrease like the block reward for Bitcoin mining does decrease at block halving ?

Thanks that chart is awesome , inflation goes down but until 2023 that does mean the New Supply is increasing and after that it will decrease.
Nevertheless,more the people more famous the community gets and though getting SP from steemit will be hard enough but the increase value of steem might help ,as far as i am thinking;)

oh...I did not realize steemit is similar to mining in that sense the more people use it, the harder it becomes. Can I ask someone how long does it take to build good steam power these days? Mind you, being new, I don't even know what 'good steem power' is in numbers. Will appreciate some comments on this.
I don't think earning STEEM through blogging will ever be as easy as it was when the platform just come out. I would suggest you just blog about things you enjoy and have fun. I believe that any STEEM you earn today will be more valuable in the future. That's the reason I keep mine at least.
Hmm, well all those who went by personal feelings when buying bitcoin all regret today, they sold out when they saw a little variation in price. If the foundation tech is good, then go for it.

Do you think it will still be worth it to create really good content in the long term though due to the lack of rewards per post? I personally enjoy creating although it is difficult for people to put time and effort in when the receive less and less as time goes on.
If you enjoy creating the content I don't see why not.
as i heard there was idea what tokens will be able to be buyable via bitcoin too, so steem can be not so liquid , also i think sbd can be used too. Of course because steem is limited and reward pool is limited because of that it will be harder and harder to earn more steem, but there might be some changes and hardforks to algo. I just hope we will evolve and adapt more , because right now steemit is still in beta and need a lot of work to be done.

Well said. I've bought other cryptos too, but steem is different. When I first heard about steemit, I was skeptical, but when I studied more, I realized steem is the future. Only those who do a good study on steem will understand its potential.

You know I was watching a YouTube video by Bill gates, and he was asked what he felt about the future of crypto, and he said crypto Was here to stay,because the tech behind it could stand the test of time. The tech behind steemit will stand the test of time. That as simple as it can get.
And for you this is pretty easy to make 100$ per post, but what about the new users who just joined the platform? Not having exposure, followers, well then it is really hard to make 10$, not to mention 100... I am so happy with my 200 SP, which is not much at all, I guess :)
Exactly. I guess just spending a few days with them and discussing the potential of steemit, motivated you to power up. That's just they way life is,the mindset you surround yourself with will determine how far you will go.

Haha, well I like STEEM a lot and never said otherwise. I don't know why this post is doing so well, I just like making these vlogs. But the point about proof of brain is about getting less Steem tokens for a post then in the past.
