We buy an Old El Paso fajita kit from the supermarket that contains tortillas, spices and salsa. You chop up chicken breasts into 1 cm wide slices and cook in the spices with onions and chopped peppers.

Then you serve the spiced chicken with sour cream, guacamole and refried beans all wrapped in the warmed tortillas. Yum!

And we like to serve with a nice glass of red! 😁

Fajitas are grilled strips of meat combined with spice, onions, and bell peppers. Round these parts, they are served on a sizzling cast iron skillet with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa as condiments. Really Yum!

From what you wrote I think the big difference between burritos and fajitas is the meat. It has to be grilled slices. I think I own a device that is perfect for this :). Thanks!

Also, as @doctorjohn says, if you're in a restaurant, the ingredients for the fajitas are served on a sizzling cast skillet. Also, burritos are served with rice I think.
