RE: Baby Sam sleepover. Dead tired and walking outside for the first time.

I call my 15 month old My Human Alarm Clock!

He sleeps like a rock all night, so I really can't complain much about his bedtime routine.. but come hell or high water, this little guy is awake between 6 and 7 AM, and there's no Snooze button!! My wife and I do something similar, where one of us "takes one for the team" and goes downstairs with him to make coffee and play with the little guy while the other one of us tries to get another REM cycle of sleep before we start the day together.

Having a little one definitely makes you aware of the time much more than before you had a little one. Before kid(s), you can sleep in as late as you want and go to bed as late as you can stay up. After kid(s), those decisions can lead to severe consequences!!

Great post :)
