Has it happened that you want to do something different than your family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc ... and stop doing it to accompany them or to do something you do not want or do not make you happy?
Organize your ideas, don’t let what you want to do as "mental waste". Learn to say NO, stop following others like a flock, believe in yourself, what you want ... If you do what others want to do and you won't enjoy it you will lose your energy, time and money.
Does it sound difficult? No, but putting it into practice is what really costs. All you need is great control and willpower to know how to say "no". Learning that even if it sounds selfish first we're ourselves, but we’re well with our life that is what we're going to reflect and transmit or in the worst case pretend something that we're not and that at any time that breaks up.
Before ordering our mind and having time for ourselves we have to feel good about our environment, so you must be in an environment where you can develop without problem, where you're comfortable and that no object in our environment make us Feel bad, uncomfortable or take away the peace. This step is a little easier since we talk about material things.
Don’t let anyone make your decisions, it's okay if they advise you but don’t let anyone decide what you want because in the end who knows what you want and need is YOU.
I'm starting but I think that people who are at the same point or want to start to spend some time should ask basic questions:
I’m happy with my job? I’m happy? I’m comfortable with myself? Can I do more? What do I want to do this year?
Bringing goals to long and short term in order to have a sense to go and not waste your energy, time and money.
NOTE: If you're under 18 you should listen to your parents but obviously don’t let them change your judgment, absorb positive information and draw your own conclusions.
