When the body is stressed, it affects how and to what level your body responds to essential functions such as control of blood flow and sensation that contribute to the symptoms of stress that you feel leading to inflammation of your skin.

Stress can lead to puffy eyes, dry, flaky skin, rashes, acne, flushed face, fine lines, tired eyes, graying and thin hair and deep grooves in your nails.

When you feel overwhelmed by a stressful situation, it's time to take a break. Listening to soulful music is very helpful. .

Having a good rapport with loved ones is important for a healthy lifestyle. .

So when you’re stressed talk to someone, whom you can trust. If that person is not available, talk calmly to yourself, tell yourself that you can go through this and everything will be fine.

Nutritious food fights off stress so whenever you’re stressed, eat nutritious food.

See the humor in any stressful situation and laugh it off. Laughter releases endorphins which improve your mood and reduce stress-causing hormones- cortisol, and adrenaline.

Include meditation as part of your lifestyle practices to remove stress. I use it and it's very helpful to reach into your inner man to get re-energized.
