The quality of your life is determined by the quality of the questions you ask yourself

I think that one of the key elements of a happy and joyful life is asking the right questions. We should take some time with ourselves (prefferably alone and in a quite place) and think of where we want to be and where are we at the current moment. Once we identify the situation we are in and know where we are heading the only thing left is to create a plan and back it up with the necessary actions. Sounds simple and to be honest it actually is simple !

Tips

  • Find a quite place where you can be alone
  • Take a paper and a pen
  • Analyze the situation you are in and highlight areas in which you would like to make a change (less stress, more money, more adventures, less party's)
  • Think of the dream you want to achieve (perfect body, good health, wealth, travel the world etc.)
  • Once you identify your dream think of the steps you have to make in order to close the gap between the dream and the reality of the same dream
  • Once you identify the steps you should take, break them down in to mini steps ( if you need 10 000$, you need to break it into 10 x 1000$)
  • ACT ON YOUR PLAN

Once you start asking yourself the right questions you will easily wire your brain to cooperate in making your dream a reality. The method of autosuggestion

Autosuggestion is a psychological technique related to the placebo effect, developed by apothecary Émile Coué at the beginning of the 20th century. It is a form of self-induced suggestion in which individuals guide their own thoughts, feelings, or behavior. The technique is often used in self-hypnosis.

Friends remeber that a good quality question can change your life and it can put you in an extremely productive state. Here are some examples

  • How can I learn from this?
  • How have other people succeeded?
  • How can I break this down into manageable chunks?
  • Who can I learn from or ask for advice?
  • Where is the opportunity in this tough situation?
  • How does this serve me?
  • How is staying in my current situation a disservice to me?
  • What will be the benefits of change?

reading your post reminds me from the famous scientist Albert Einstein's quote saying:

" If I had an hour to solve a problem, I'd spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem, and 5 minutes thinking about the solutions."

I have a fundamental question since i was a child, and i've never have an answer by now, the more i think about the question "Why am I here?" the more i became curious about life, i read lots of books covering philosophy , politics, history, science, but yet i never satisfied from what i learned, but i think life is all about learning new stuff and there will be no ending at eat, it's because it is part of the evolution of human being.

The genius in simplicity!

I found in college that very often id want to ask a prof a question, but really, i didnt understand the situation well enough to even know what to ask. Really, i just wanted the prof to do my work for me... to somehow stick the understanding into my brain with no effort on my part.

What i ultimately found was that if i worked on figuring out the precise question to ask, id almost always have worked out the answer, or the understanding, in the process.

Yes, thats often the case! A quality question is something very special.

Really like your share. I think you have a great point in the importance of asking the right questions. I view it like this: The better your question, the clearer your answer will be.
