Nebraska has been hit by blistering cold winter storms this year (lows in the -25's), and the huge farming plots are now barren tundra wastelands as the freeze nearly kills anything exposed to it .
Here is such an image of the frozen nothingness, with the only sign of life being the farm houses in the distance, a bastion in such a place.
