Are you high (enough)?

Hi, my name is enthusiast and I feel high, do you too?

Life can be pretty sweet at times, it can also feel very hard. It can feel amazing to be alive in the now. Yet people often have a tendency to focus on the bad stuff. Why is that? Let’s keep it simple and to the core.

First of all, let’s begin with education and environment. What our mind is fed with from early childhood on has a huge influence on what we see and do. So does our environment. What we are confronted with on a minutely basis defines our experiences.

But you can tweak it, you can be dynamic. You can float and you can choose.

In life, it is very good to be high. Not merely temporarily — and fading just as quickly as arriving — but to really feel high in life means to be able to do good upon oneself and the entire sphere that we all operate in together, generally and per se. What we think and what we do has an impact that is much higher than probably imaginable.

Each “Ding an sich” (German, “a thing as it is in itself”) is not what we see or think it is. What we see is ourselves, intertwined with what we are given with, with what we call the world. Mediated through our perception, our senses and our conceptualisation of the world. Each and everyone of us is an integral part of it. Our eyes see but what we see are not the things themselves, they are their representations that come to life in our very own and unique perception.

There are various ways to come to this realisation, and to feel it through and through, be it through sports, mind-altering and enhancing substances (depending on legality, ie. THC, 5-HTP, MDMA, LSD...), meditation, love, sex, music — anything that is able to help cause a twist of fate within your own boundaries can activate you, can touch you in magic ways.

Anything that is able to take you beyond, that let’s you see that it is you who is alive, it is you who is. This is absolutely amazing. We are alive. We are life.

You are the one who is on the Steem platform, you are the one who is defining its content. You can play. The world is not a different breed, it are the very same principles that make things go around — if you choose to, you have and you always will partake in its creation! If you feel this, you are transcending your perception. It is very interesting and utterly mind-blowing to see and learn what is possible. The higher you are, the more you’re able to see through people’s myriads of problems and how these have manifested themselves in the meta — in society, that is.

Through an upbeat way, through an awake and light mind, a mood beyond the many burdens and boundaries that we can, and sometimes must, go through, that are set upon us and that we choose ourselves, we can truly feel alive, and truly push ourselves and our closed ones forward in ways that negativity and immutability can’t.

Because we are able to define. We can choose, and we can choose up, choose high.

Are you high (enough)?

No matter who you are and what you are going through, you can be an enthusiast. You can be higher and you can be high. Let this seed grow, I'm growing it too. You’re dope — and what’s more, you have the ability to let life shine through your being. It is wonderful, because it is freedom. Boundaries can be moved.

Once this change has occurred within one’s mind, there is a sweet light and compass. It’s pretty good to be around.
