A few weeks ago, on the way to a remote village in North Aceh, about 20 km from the main road. We saw a number of young children rowing their bikes on their way home from school.
This scene reminded me of childhood, rowing my bicycle up to 2 Km to reach school. Very pleasant.
Cycling habits to go and go home from school usually continue to junior high school level. This has become a habit and tradition in the countryside, besides, economic factors are also one reason. But I don't want to discuss the problem further.

Slowly but surely, the habit of cycling slowly has been abandoned in many other areas. Most school children have switched to riding motorbikes, and they leave sweet childhood memories.
