Yeah, and it's usually very insecure couples that do this, because they know that if anyone's self-growth is increased, i.e. more self-esteem, break-up is very likely, and so they start breaking the other person down, saying crazy shit like "I'm the only one you could ever be with", which is pretty much an emotionally abusive way of telling them that you own them.

And sure, it's fear, but if it was only fear, then their words would be "I'm afraid you might not want to be with me anymore". The key term here is abuse, because this shit is intentional. If it was only fear, they would not cover the fear up saying abusive shit.

Also, I recommend leaving an empty line just below the image. It's much easier to read that way!
