I can stand everything, I have high tolerance for some people, I can deal with the problems, react in a second, I work perfectly when I am under the pressure, no matter what, I will survive all... but one thing!
Shopping!
And I don't mean on going to the market to pick up some things! I talk about spending hours in malls and shopping centers with hands full of bags, checking every single store and buying things that nobody really needs. Also, I can't stand those large air-conditioned spaces full of people spending money on things that they don't really know what they are.
My wife is not a shopaholic but from time to time I have to take her to the mall and spend at least two hours there, carrying HER bags and waiting for HER in front of the changing cabin while she tries the clothes. Then she gets out and asks me how does she looks like.
And what should I say?
Now I must be careful with the answer, I have to give some compliments, or else I'll be sentenced to 2 more hours here.
She looks at me suspiciously and repeats the question: "You really think that this shirt fits me?"
No matter what the truth is, I have three options:
a) "Maybe you should try find something better."
This is the worst possible answer because the words "try find" mean 2 more hours in the mall.
b) "It's OK, you look nice in that shirt."
This is also a bad answer.
When I say this, she looks at me suspiciously and she thinks that I'm obviously "beautify the truth". This also means 1-2 hours more in the mall, but also plus nagging.
c) "Wow, you look beautiful, you should buy it!"
This is the best possible answer but you have to be careful while delivering it.
Never say that answer too early! If you say it in the first 20 minutes in the mall, she will maybe put it back on the shelf and try to find some other solution, but for two hours, she will be back for it. So the good timing is important here, you gotta play the game like a professional.
When I need to buy something, I always know where to go and what to do.
For example, sneakers! I pay a lot for the sneakers so they can endure with me and my behavior. So I know what type of sneakers I need and where to find them. I prefer to go alone because I hate stopping at every shop window. It takes 3-5 minutes for me to choose the sneakers, to try them on, pay for them and I'm out!

I do believe this is common for so many of us men shopping is something we can do in minutes to buy a whole outfit but our dear wife’s consider it a long distance event

whatever you said applies to me! i hate going over 3 at least shops in order my girlfriend find what see wants, something that probably over a month she might never wear it again. on this other hand when i go to shop i know exactly what i want, i searched through internet first, i know the costs and i visit max 2 stores, i get in check it and that's it end of story

Like you, I despise shopping. Haven't been to a mall in decades. Hate shopping for clothes. Not your typical woman.I literally own five pairs of shoes. They all have a purpose and nothing more.
