You almost pirated her pride! It's only money and you can't take it with you. You will be rewarded far more with her pride in doing something worthy of a mediocre job she doesn't even like.

I could hug you for taking it like a trooper. In fairness, that kind of volunteer job usually pays off in the future. She is playing it long. Sort of like Hive. :)
