RE: Why the widespread psychology of poverty

in #life8 years ago

I like your approach. I was just talking to a friend about this issue. He mentioned a friend he knows who earns a hundred thousand a year yet is in debt and has to continue working 90 hours a week. During this conversation he mentioned the new cars his friend has purchased and how he spends most of his money with barely anything in savings.
If you earn a hundred thousand but spend a hundred and one thousand you are still broke.
Our habits are a huge part in our success. Yes taxes and laws make it harder, but if a person can't handle 13,000 a year they won't be able to handle 50,000 and so on. They haven't developed the habit and control over money. Of course this is easier said then done. Especially after we've gotten ourselves into financial messes. I know the struggle of chasing a dream and surviving daily expenses. I will admit I failed to step out and work towards my dream because a financial pressures . It's too easy to accept the things will never change lie. Dr. Myles Munroe said the reason people stay in bondage is that it's easier to stay a slave, then it is to take responsibility. He said as a slave your suffering isn't your fault and there's nothing you can do. Yet with freedom comes personal responsibility, and that takes sacrifice.
