I just listened to a broadcast about the activity within the realms of witnesses and blockchain engineers. It was interesting, but did not encourage me as a content creator. I press on with hope. After listening, I visited my wallet and redeemed 1.3 Steem Power tokens. 
1.3 Steem at today’s price will not buy my lunch. This price relationship gives me a very low pay rate for my time invested in content creation.
This however is not the end of the story!
Those witnesses and engineers I mentioned are working very hard to promote the environment and the blockchain. If they succeed, the future value if a Steem token could be very high. 1.3 Steem tokens may be extremely valuable in the future. Speculation on future price targets is pure speculation.
So, I am a gambler on the uncertain future price of Steem. I have no idea what will be. $10.00. Or $100.00. Or $1000.00 are all possible.
As a Steem farmer, I continue to plant seeds. I don’t measure my pay based on today’s prices.
