Apologies in advance… this is my favorite conspiracy, so it’s kinda long. Enjoy.
Prior to Titanic making its maiden voyage in April of 1912, another White Star Line boat, Olympic, collided with HMS Hawke off the coast of the Isle of the Wight. If you’ve looked into the sinking of Titanic before, you know that there are plenty of questionable aspects of it’s crash.
As some background, Olympic was sailing off the coast of the Isle of the Wight when it crashed into Hawke while on only her 5th voyage. The two boats were running parallel to each other when Hawke veered into the side of Olympic, who in turn got stuck and pulled into the ship’s large propellers. The aftermath of the collision was a crushed bow for the Hawke and two of Olympic’s compartments being flooded. In the end, Olympic was blamed for the crash due to its enormous displacement casing the smaller Hawke to be sucked in. Plus, the insurance company, Lloyd’s of London, refused to pay any settlement or compensation. Battles were prolonged for months after the crash, leaving White Star Line a load of legal bills and a damaged ship with no money or way to be fixed for at least six weeks. In turn, this collision would also delayed the completion of Titanic as parts from her were used to repair Olympic.
That being said, the Titanic was supposed to be completed on March 20th of 1911 but with the delay of repairs and money, used for Olympic, would put her maiden voyage back to April 10th of 1911. The real question is; were the Titanic and Olympic switched and purposefully sank to claim compensation that was not received after the first collision? Or was Titanic sank in order to rid multiple people who have spoken out about their opposition to federal tax?
A few questionable pictures and acts done involving Titanic could raise some questions about if it is the Titanic or the Olympic at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Looking at the few pictures below, you’ll notice that between the C Deck portholes, Titanic has 14 evenly spaced and Olympic has 16 unevenly spaced portholes. But pictures of the Titanic underwater and leaving dock show the liner having 16 portholes that, you guessed it, are unevenly spaced. Also, the following pictures will show the front of the boat underwater and the front of the Olympic. You’ll notice that they have the same structure and windows, which differ from Titanic’s. The next striking piece of information was that the liner was equipped to carry 64 lifeboats, holding 65 people on each. The night Titanic sank, it was equipped with only T W E N T Y boats. As those boats were being filled, obviously women, children, and first class first, they were being sent down to the 28 degree ocean only being filled halfway. The first boat went down with 28 people. 28 out of 64 spots filled. (And not to mention, it took sixty minutes from the impact until the first boat was launched.) With this method, 31.6% of people survived the collision, while if they had filled the lifeboats to capacity, that number would have skyrocketed to a 53.4% survival rate. Furthermore, if they would have added 15 more boats and packed them to capacity, there would have been enough room for every member on the liner. Going down this road of wanting to diminish a certain class or rid a group of people and their opinions, you’d be surprised to find that millionaires Benjamin Guggenheim, Isidor Straus and John Jacob Astor IV, who were all against the start of a Federal Reserve Bank, were three of the non-survivors of the crash.
The men in charge of completing Titanic were J. Bruce Ismay (who was on the ship and survived), Thomas Andrews (who was on the ship and didn’t survive) and J.P. Morgan (who was SUPPOSED to be on the ship but never boarded).
Conveniently, J.P. Morgan cancelled his spot of the Titanic last minute prior to leaving port. Coincidentally, he also boarded the ship one hour prior to leaving port and retrieved multiple valuables off the ship. Ticket #242154 anonymously received a full refund shortly before the ship left dock… could that be J.P. Morgan’s ticket? J. Bruce Ismay’s wife, Julia, and their children were also supposed to board with him, but cancelled their spots as well last minute, stating that Julia was sick, but was seen on holiday shortly after. However, Thomas Andrews did not survive the crash, which raises questions on if he was in the know or if it was a cover up. More so, was he supposed to survive and the plan didn’t work out?
How the ship sank… The ship sank after hitting an iceberg, only noticing it 30 seconds before impact. Even with six warnings had been sent out about the iceberg, the iceberg was pinging three miles off from where it actually was. It was inevitable that they would hit the iceberg. Was this done purposely or was it technical error? With the ship travelling at 22.5 knots, .5 knots away from full speed, the speed has also been the blame for such significant damage. Six of the forward compartments were flooded, while the boat could stay afloat if four or less filled. Neither the Titanic or the Olympic had a public announcement system making it hard to notify everyone of the incident and their next steps to safely disembark the boat.
After the crash, multiple ship builders had come forward and admitted to the purposeful sinking. For example, Patty Fenton. He claimed that they had all kept quiet due to the government blackmailing them with twenty years in jail and making sure they couldn’t get a job once they served their sentence.
For now, these are all my compelling arguments on why the Titanic was purposely sank. If this one interests you, let me know in the comments. There’s many more conspiracies rather than the insurance fraud or Federal Tax Reserve that I could go into, and would be more than ecstatic to go into. Any suggestions for conspiracies or even weird things happening in the world, let me know. I’m always looking for something new to take a deep dive with.
Next Week: I’m planning to do a blog about the Denver Airport conspiracy.
