I'm not into collecting all the traditionally valuable stuff. Even money doesn't really interest me beyond paying for necessities.
However, looking around my house, I do find two collections that seem to have wormed their way into my home.
- My lizards
I collected these when I did software exhibitions as a sideline. Other stall holders used to give them to me. I still like them. I think it's because I used to have a real green lizard till it ran up the chimney.
- My long-arm monkeys
All these monkeys have been given to me. I eventually found a way to display them... 'Hey, hey, we're the Monkees and people say we monkey around'. Yeah, I like them too.
