Crypto-currencies need to be introduced into the Russian legislation as a new type of money, says presidential aide Sergei Glazyev.

"It seems to me that from the point of view of legislative regulation ... it is necessary to fix in the laws that describe the monetary circulation that there is another type of money - cash, non-cash and digital or crypto money." It is necessary to recognize the obvious appearance of a new type of money and the easiest way to integrate it in our regulation, "- said Glazyev during the meeting on determining the legal status of crypto-currencies and their legislative regulation.
This is agreed with the RF CCI. "The concept of" virtual money "or" virtual property rights "should be introduced into the Civil Code, which will lay the foundation for the development of legislation and regulation of crypto-currency," said Ilya Zubkov, head of department for interaction with state authorities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

National Crypto-currency
According to Glazyev, today the most interesting issue is the issue of the national crypto currency, and the need for such an instrument has matured.
"There is an objective need for this tool, connected, firstly, with the fact that banks are subject to sanctions and do not want to conduct settlements on sensitive activities for the state." This instrument is very suitable for making settlements with our sanctions, regardless of sanctions. counterparties around the world and not be afraid of the fact that the bank will freeze our money and block the deal, "Glazyev said. In addition, he noted, now in Russia money is very expensive, digital is cheaper.
Among other advantages of crypto currency, he named the possibility of tracking their movement, higher control, lower probability of theft, etc. "In general, money circulation starts to work in the interests of the real sector, not usurers," said the presidential aide.
